Controls
How do I steer?
Tilt your phone left or right and the ball follows. Hold it however is comfortable: when the countdown ends, the game treats that angle as level, so you can play sitting, standing or lying down. About 25° of tilt is full speed.
Steering feels too fast, too slow or backwards.
Open Settings and change Tilt sensitivity (1 to 5). If left and right feel swapped, turn on Invert steering.
Can I play without tilting?
Yes. In Settings, set Controls to Touch, then drag anywhere on the screen to move the ball. On a device without a tilt sensor, touch steering is used automatically.
How do I see the tutorial again?
Go to Settings › Replay tutorial. It shows before your next run.
Playing
What are zones?
Every 25 walls the game speeds up and changes color: Cruise ×1.0, Rush ×1.2, Burn ×1.45, Redline ×1.75 and Overdrive ×2.1. In Overdrive the speed keeps creeping up, wall after wall.
How do close calls work?
Pass a wall with only a hair to spare and you earn bonus points. Chain close calls back to back for +1, +2, +3 and more. A wall passed with room to spare resets the chain.
What are orbs for?
Orbs sit in some of the gaps. Steer through them to collect them, then spend them in Skins on new balls and trails.
Can I keep going after a crash?
Yes, once per run: you can revive for 30 orbs.
How do I unlock the Nova ball?
Reach Overdrive, the fifth zone. Nova unlocks automatically.
Progress and data
Do I need an internet connection?
No. Tilt Rush works fully offline.
Will my progress move to a new phone?
Your progress is saved on your device. There’s no account or cloud sync, but your progress is part of your device backup, so it comes along when you set up a new phone from a backup of your old one.
Why can’t I hear any sound?
Check that Sound is on in Settings and that your phone isn’t in silent mode: sound effects follow your phone’s silent setting. Your own music keeps playing while you play.
How do I reset my progress?
Go to Settings › Reset progress. It erases your best score, orbs, skins and stats, and keeps your settings. This can’t be undone.
Does Tilt Rush collect my data?
No. Tilt Rush has no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking. Read the privacy policy for details.
